Heavy items, small boxes
Books and tools go in small boxes. Light items like linens and pillows go in large ones.
No empty space
Fill gaps with paper or towels. A box that shifts when shaken will get damaged in transit.
Plates on edge
Wrap each plate and stand it on edge like records. They handle pressure far better that way.
Label two sides
Write the room and a short contents list on the top and one side, so it is readable when stacked.

When do you pack, on moving day or before?
Small homes can often be packed the morning of the move. For 2 bedrooms and up, we usually pack the day before so moving day stays on schedule.
Are packing materials included?
Yes. Boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, labels and specialty cartons are supplied and listed on your quote. [Confirm whether materials are billed separately or bundled.]

Yes. Partial packing is our most popular option. We pack the kitchen, glassware, art and mirrors, and you handle clothes, books and linens.
