- Open every space. Closets, basement, garage, attic, shed and storage lockers.
- Know what's staying. Point out items you're selling, donating or leaving behind.
- Flag the tricky items. Piano, safe, artwork, antiques or anything over 300 lb.
- Check your building rules. Elevator booking times, COI needs and moving hours at both addresses.
- Decide on packing. Full packing, partial packing or doing it yourself all change the price.

Long distance and larger moves get a flat rate confirmed in writing, so drive time and traffic don't change it. Local moves are priced hourly with a 3-hour minimum, and the visit gives you a close time estimate. Your price only changes if the move itself changes, such as adding items or services.
What if I add items after the estimate?
Let your coordinator know before moving day and we'll update your quote in writing.
Do you do estimates for office and commercial moves?
Yes. We visit offices, retail spaces and other commercial sites, and can work around business hours.
