For applicable consumer moving services, the specific written agreement provided to the Customer will identify applicable services, pricing, dates, payment terms, and other important details.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under Ontario law.
3.Quotes, Estimates and Pricing
Pricing may depend on the number and type of items, volume and weight, number of movers and vehicles, pickup and delivery locations, stairs, elevators, walking distance, access conditions, packing requirements, storage requirements, additional services, and actual time required.
For hourly moving services, the final amount will generally be based on the applicable hourly rate and actual time and services required, subject to the Customer's written agreement and applicable law.
An initial estimate of time is not a guarantee of the final duration unless expressly stated otherwise in the written agreement.
4.Minimum Booking
Our standard minimum moving service is 3 hours, unless a different minimum is expressly stated in the Customer's written agreement. Additional time may be charged at the agreed hourly rate.
5.Deposit
A standard booking deposit of $100 may be required to reserve a moving date. Unless otherwise stated in the Customer's written agreement, if the Customer cancels or reschedules the booking in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms, the deposit will be refunded.
6.Cancellation and Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule their booking subject to the terms of their specific booking agreement. Where the Customer is entitled to a refund under the applicable agreement or law, PinkBird Moving & Storage will process the applicable refund.
Nothing in this section limits cancellation rights provided by Ontario's Consumer Protection Act or other applicable legislation.
7.Payment Methods
PinkBird Moving & Storage accepts credit card, debit card, e-transfer, and cash. Payment must be made according to the payment schedule and terms provided in the Customer's written agreement or invoice.
8.Credit Card Surcharges
Where permitted by applicable law and payment-card-network rules, PinkBird Moving & Storage may apply a credit-card surcharge. Any applicable surcharge will be disclosed before payment is completed and shown as required on the applicable receipt or payment record. The surcharge will not exceed any applicable legal or payment-network limit.

PinkBird Moving & Storage will use reasonable moving practices and appropriate protective materials for the services purchased.
Customers should inform our team about fragile, valuable, antique, or otherwise sensitive items before work begins.
16.Protection Plan and Valuation
PinkBird Moving & Storage may offer a protection plan based on $0.60 per pound, subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations applicable to the specific service agreement.
The Customer's actual protection/valuation coverage is determined by the applicable written agreement. Customers should review the applicable protection-plan terms before the move begins.
17.Damage or Loss Claims
Customers should inspect belongings at delivery and identify visible damage or missing items before the moving crew leaves whenever reasonably possible.
Damage or loss should be reported to PinkBird Moving & Storage as soon as reasonably possible after discovery.

Changes may affect pricing, staffing, vehicle requirements, availability, or scheduling.
21.Delays
Moving times can be affected by traffic, weather, building restrictions, elevator availability, parking conditions, loading delays, unexpected access issues, additional items, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a delay occurs, PinkBird Moving & Storage will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the Customer and complete the service as soon as reasonably practicable.
22.Long-Distance Moves
Long-distance services may be subject to additional terms relating to scheduling, mileage, travel time, delivery windows, storage, and other transportation requirements. The applicable written agreement will identify pricing and conditions for the specific move.
